Bridge Film Fest - 16 - 22 September 2015
BRIDGE FILM FEST
International Film Festival

Film is a cultural expression. Any story, scene, idea or movement can be expressed through film, bridging cultures, connecting people and diversifying minds. With increased cultural knowledge comes tolerance, and a greater understanding for the different worlds within the world around us. Whether you are a creative filmmaker or avid moviegoer—there will be an opportunity to participate in a multicultural society, sharing the values of Mitrovica, at the Bridge Film Fest. Women of Mitrovica, alike and different, have pulled together to organize this festival initiative. The female staff works towards bridging communities, connecting people and encouraging tolerance. They hope to share the values of Mitrovica, and connect the divided communities. Not only does the festival hope to share diversity through film, but they also show us the importance of diversity by example. All of the women of the Bridge Film Fest originate from amazingly distinct cultures, joining together to bridge vastly unlike societies into one larger, multicultural society.
